Ad: CBJ Preschool early enrollment
Problem: Enrollment was down at Greene County CBJ Preschool in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. In order to raise enrollment to pre-pandemic levels to maintain the school’s funding, the preschool needed to actively recruit parents of young students to enroll in Pre-K for the 2022-2023.
Solution: The school turned to the GCSS Communications Department for marketing help. A campaign was developed to promote preschool early enrollment during the 2022 spring semester. The school district deployed ads on social media, targeting the young parent demographic within the county. The ads featured a call to action inviting parents to tour the school, described the documents needed for preschool enrollment, and highlighted the school’s slogan: “The Power of a Bright Start.” The ad also tagged the school’s Facebook page in the hope of sharing the resulting engagement. Over half of the school’s early enrollment came as a result of the social media ads alone.

CBJ Preschool CLASS of 2035 GRADUATION
Problem: The Greene County School System needed to raise its social media engagement on the day of Greene County High School’s graduation in order to encourage the community to join in celebrating the Class of 2022 and watch their graduation livestream in the evening.
Solution: The district shared a photo gallery of CBJ Preschool’s graduation early that same week on Instagram and Facebook, with a plug for the high school graduation later that evening. The post employed the same hashtags that would be used on the high school graduation livestream post later the same evening. The Instagram post shown here had a wider reach than 86% of the district’s other posts.

Greene County school system back-to-school webpage
Problem: The Greene County School System created a Back-to-School page on its website with information about registration, bus routes, student handbooks, dress code, and upcoming back-to-school events. The district website does not get much organic traffic, so the page needed to be promoted to students’ families.
Solution: The district’s Facebook and Instagram pages promoted the page multiple times throughout the two weeks prior to the first day of school. The graphic shown in the Facebook post here was added the Facebook link preview and promoted on Instagram to drive traffic to the site. The social media posts accounted for about half of the page’s traffic in the two week’s prior to the first day of school.
